Register for the Abbott Chicago 5K on Saturday, October 12! This scenic run through downtown Chicago gives everyone a chance to experience the excitement of Bank of America Chicago Marathon weekend and is the perfect way for marathoners, fans of the sport and friends and family to see the city in a whole new way.

Registration for the Abbott Chicago 5K is $45.

Participants will receive a cozy knit hat and all finishers will receive a medal.

Cancellation (by you or by us)

Learn more about the options available to 2024 Abbott Chicago 5K registered participants if they choose not to participate or in the case event of an event cancellation.

Abbott Chicago 5K event requirements

• All Abbott Chicago 5K participants must be capable of maintaining a 15:00/mile pace, and completing the full 5K (3.1 miles) distance, start line to finish line, within the event time requirement of 45 minutes (mm:ss/45:59).
• Runners must be 8 years of age or older on the event day. Runners under 18 years of age must have the registration form completed by a parent or legal guardian permitting participation.
• Sale and/or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited. All entry fees are non-refundable, and may not be deferred toward a future event.
